Scholarships from Foundations and Corporations
This alphabetical list describes some of the major foundations, corporations, and private funding sources of which you should be aware. As you look them over, make note of any new sources you’ll need to investigate further.
The Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation is focused on STEM students and includes information for both students and faculty.
The Blakemore Foundation focuses on the study of Asian languages and arts and offers language grants.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
Diversity Abroad provides a variety of study abroad and international scholarships, which can be found on this page.
The Foundation for Global Scholars focuses on creating young leaders to solve global issues through scholarships given. Their site can be accessed here.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation provides funding that can be used to study abroad through its Gates Millennium Scholars Program designed for students of color with financial need.
The Golden Key International Honour Society offers education, service, and leadership scholarships. Information about the scholarships can be found here.

The Institute of Current World Affairs provides a fellowship to help develop knowledge of foreign countries and cultures. Information on the fellowship is available here.
The Institute of International Education partners with corporations and foundations to give scholarships for study abroad. More information can be found here.
The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine administer Predoctoral, Dissertation, and Postdoctoral fellowships on behalf of the Ford Foundation. The goal is to increase the diversity of American higher education faculty.
Rotary International provides global grants to graduate students and for humanitarian projects. Access more information here.
