Our Mission:

The mission of the pg电子下载 State University Victims Advocate Program (ASU-VAP) is to provide unwavering support, advocacy, and resources to survivors of crime, harassment, and interpersonal violence within our university community, and to empower survivors, foster healing, and cultivate a campus environment built on respect and safety. The scope of advocacy goes beyond victimization; Victims Advocate serves as a point of contact for students seeking help in any crisis by providing confidential support.

Assistance with the Crime Victims Compensation application
Information on legal rights and protection orders
Information on the criminal justice process
Information on crime prevention
Assistance with safety planning
Assistance in navigating the medical system

How to Request Academic & Residential Accommodations

Self-identify to the Disability Services Office.
Complete application packet and return to Disability Services.
Provide current medical documentation supportive of disability; documents may be submitted via fax at 601-877-2340 or electronically at [email protected].
Provide copy of class schedule.
Contact Disability Services to schedule an appointment; distance learners may schedule a phone meeting if unable to meet in person.
Update request for services each academic term.
